  • SBS is an independently owned Louisiana Limited Liability Company that was formed in 2015 by Rex Pearce, a 2024 Louisiana Music Hall of Fame Member. Rex Pearce is a BMI writer, record producer, and guitarist with thirty years of music industry experience. Rex has had songs placed in movies, on national TV, and on the radio.  Rex Pearce, along with Dale Murray, produced the 2010 release of the Louisiana’s LeRoux CD titled “The Session Years featuring Carl Michaels”. Rex and Dale co-wrote several songs on the CD.  LeRoux is known for their hits “New Orleans Ladies," “Addicted," and “Nobody Said It Was Easy." LeRoux was formerly on Capitol and RCA records. Rex has worked with various artists in recording studios located in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge. SBS consists of the music production company, a record label, and a BMI music publishing firm. SBS primarily represents popular Louisiana music acts. In addition to the LeRoux record mentioned above, the label has released CDs by The Groove Krewe, Floyd Brown, and Delta Freight.


  • The Groove Krewe is a select group of studio musicians including Rex Pearce on guitar, Nelson Blanchard on multiple instruments, and Dale Murray on other percussion. The Groove Krewe feat. Jonathon Boogie Long "Blues from The Bayou" EP is the latest release. The physical release is to be September 1, 2023. The Digital release was August 1, 2023. Boogie Long is from South Louisiana and in 2011 he won the Guitar Center "King of The Blues" as best unsigned blues guitarist in America. His breathtaking guitar solos and dynamic voice have made him a crowd favorite. He has shared the stage with BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Gregg Allman, ZZ Top, Robert Cray, The Meters, and Kenny Wayne Sheperd. He is a member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. He plays The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and other venues worldwide.


  • The Groove Krewe featuring Nick Daniels III "Run to Daylight" LP was released in 2022. Nick was a New Orleans native that has played bass with The Neville Brothers, Uptown All Stars, Zachary Richard, Etta James, and Allen Toussaint. Nick also played bass and sang for the well-known New Orleans funk group called Dumpstaphunk. They have opened for Dave Matthews and The Rolling Stones among others.  Unfortunately, Nick passed away in 2024. He will be missed. RIP Nick.


  • Floyd Brown is a soulful vocalist that hails from Baton Rouge, LA. Floyd was formerly on Decca and MCA records. His song "Kiss Me Just One More Time" charted nationally. Unfortunately, Floyd passed away in 2026. He is missed. RIP Floyd.


  •  Delta Freight is a Louisiana recording group consisting of Rex Pearce on guitar, Randy Knaps on vocals, and Nelson Blanchard on multiple instruments. All songs are original.

This CD was released on May 27, 2022. It is available on all digital platforms, Louisiana Music Factory "Run to Daylight" was #1 on the Roots Music Report Soul Blues song chart. "That's New Orleans" from this CD was licensed by The New Orleans Tourist Commission to promote the city on social media. Several songs from this CD were played all over the world on blues radio.
